Studio behind “Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee” inks 30K sf renewal at 325 Hudson
The production company behind Jerry Seinfeld’s web series “Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee” expanded its Hudson Square offices by nearly 20,000 square feet.
Embassy Row, which is owned by Sony Pictures Television, signed a lease for 19,421 square feet on the full seventh floor at Jamestown and Netrality Properties’ 325 Hudson Street, the Commercial Observer reported.
That brings the company’s total footprint to 30,543 square feet.
“Like the existing sixth floor space, the seventh floor will be used as studios and ancillary offices,” according to a Newmark Grubb Knight Frank TRData LogoTINY, which represented the owners.
The new lease and renewal of the existing space cover 10 years. Asking rent was in the high $60s per square foot.
The 10-story, 240,000-square-foot building was originally constructed as a warehouse in 1965 and redeveloped to a carrier hotel with telecommunication infrastructure.
