AR-IX Cabase
Internet Exchange
Argentina | AR

Notes from AR-IX Cabase:
Cabase is an internet exchange that includes facilities in several cities in Argentina.
Our main network is **switched inside a city** and **routed between cities**, to keep Layer2 problems local. Each city has its own route servers.
There is also a nationwide Layer2 VLAN that bridges all connected facilities, to be used as a private peering over our public IPs, without route servers.
We also provide VLANs between peers, when the public Layer2 VLAN can't be used and peers need a private exchange over their own IPs.
